Hey babes! I'm so glad you decided to join me here. I really hope you enjoy my creations (and decide you need one in your home too ;] ) and I can't thank you enough for clicking around and looking at the whole website.
I've never blogged before, but I felt it was kind-of important for me to explain how I started this company, and my thoughts and feelings as I try to make it grow.
For 5 years I've been making decorations for my own home out of terrariums filled with taxidermy creatures, animal skulls, animal skeletons, dried flowers, crystals, stones butterflies, beetles... you name it, I've tried it. And I loved it. I really do! But I've decided to take a leap of faith and try to sell these online, as my own home has no more room to keep them, and I love to create these small room blessings and don't want to stop. So my fiance, Mike, told me to go for it. Without him this leap of faith would have stayed a dream.
And thus, Eight of Rings was born. I bought more supplies, smudged and cleansed everything in sight, and got to work. I've been brimming with excitement ever since!
Except, I had no idea what to call the shop.
Do I name it after me? Nah.
Do I name it something obvious? Didn't feel right.
Frustrated, I sat down one night with my tarot deck and simply asked where I'm going with this whole idea. I needed help finding a way to tie it all together. So I dealt my cards, and out popped a card on top. Can you guess which one it was?
Eight of Rings. It was so perfect, I couldn't help but laugh at the cheek of it.
"This card symbolizes craft, diligence, dedication, and skill... a symbol of adaptation, emphasizes the need to commit to one's craft."
I'm no expert in anything I do. Please realize I'm growing in my craft in every way possible and hoping to learn even more from you all too. I can't wait to meet you all! Please email me anytime, for anything. I'd love to help!
Otherwise, Please check out my instagram! Link is on the bottom of this page! Give me a follow to see more updates and products!
